Having been known as a hired-gun guitar player in the music business, Ronnie

Ray made a name for himself playing his eclectic guitar styles. Various people

have wanted him to produce a “guitar hero” cd, which has been anticipated for

some time now. From the advice of admirer’s and colleagues coaxing him to do

a vocal c.d. he has presented a mix of dynamic tunes that have brought out his

rich toned voice. Ronnie Ray put himself through college singing and playing

for audiences all around. 

Having been vocally trained in singing in the

beginning through many choirs including church choirs, he found himself for

the pas 30 years as a hired gun, taking on many gigs, making a name for

himself. As a guitarist, he is beckoned to sing and produce more as he takes

on more. Ronnie Ray is on his way to finishing his second all vocal cd with 9

tracks included.

By popular demand his instrumental has lead to a up in coming group of recorded vocal featuring RR’s unique vocal sound, texture, and various styles...One the several projects unfolding by Ronnie as a solo artist and contributing member of Streamline Trio featuring Kenneth Nash.

Dennis Smith 

Dennis Smith (“Deep Den”) is an Oakland, California based musician specializing in recording and live performance on the fretless and fretted 4 and 5 string electric basses and the 5 string upright electric bass.  He has been recording and performing professionally for over 40 years.  Dennis is a life-long student of the Jazz idiom and considers himself fortunate to have performed with some of the world’s best musicians.  Although a student of Jazz, Dennis has developed an independent style that fuses Jazz with Funk, Rhythm and Blues, Rock, Reggae, West African, Middle Eastern, and Western Classical styles.  This fusion allows him to contribute to a wide variety of music and artists. Dennis has recorded, performed and toured with many world class artists, musicians and producers including Harvey Fuqua (Motown), Leon Sylvers, Sylvester, Jeannie Tracy, Melvin Seals & JGB (The Jerry Garcia Band), Melvin Seals’ Melting Pot, Jorge Santana, Richard Bean (Malo, Sapo), Bobby Espinoza and Freddie Sanchez (El Chicano), Steve Salas (Tierra), David Murray, Pharoah Sanders, Gail Muldrow, Cynthia Robinson (Sly & The Family Stone, Graham Central Station), William Kennedy, Cody Moffett, Forrest Buchtel, Kenneth Nash, Samba Ngo, Bruce Burger & RebbeSoul, Common Tongue, Charles Moffett, Sr., Ed Kelly, Art Lande, Ze’ Manel, Arsenio Kounde, Nepoleon Murphy-Brock and Ike Willis (Frank Zappa’s Mothers of Invention), Wil Bernard, Scott Law, Dave Ellis and many others.  

Dennis has been fortunate to have performed at festivals and clubs across the United States, Europe, Japan, Mexico and Central America.  The diversity of artists with whom and audiences for whom he has performed has continued to stretch and inform his artistic style and keeps his contributions fresh and original.   In addition to his work as a recording session musician and performing musician, Dennis has also produced several projects for other artists and has composed and produced soundtracks and theme music for documentaries, marketing films and advertisements.
